Track spending, set budgets, manage bills and loans, and safely share insights with family โ then switch to a business workspace for receipt scanning and tax-ready reports. All in one secure app.
Are you an accountant or bookkeeper? Open the accountant portal
One place for spending, budgets, bills, loans, and reports.
Import your bank or credit card statements and let keyword rules automatically categorize every transaction. Sort any column, filter and clear in one click, change the category of many rows at once, and let AI review the ones filed under Other.
Set monthly or yearly spending limits per category, with live progress bars and an at-a-glance overview of what's left.
Track recurring bills with a due-day calendar, mark each one To Pay, Auto-paid, or Paid, and keep a full payment history.
Monitor loan balances, log payments as you make them, and watch your payoff progress update in real time. A summary strip shows total borrowed, paid so far, what remains and your monthly minimums.
Group spending across categories for a vacation, a wedding or a new home. A review step separates the real trip spending from regular monthly charges, and each trip or project can have its own categories.
See spending breakdowns by category, income vs. expense trends and a 12-month view, for any month, year or all time. Hide bills when you want to see everyday spending, and download reports as Excel or PDF. Card payments and transfers between your own accounts are kept out of your totals.
Invite family members to view your finances read-only โ choose exactly which sections each person can see, from Dashboard to Budgets to Bills.
Support for 60+ currencies, email verification, and secure password recovery โ built for real households.
See your monthly payment, total interest, and full amortization schedule for any loan โ or find out what re-terming your remaining balance would cost.
Try the calculator โYour credit score affects every loan you take. Check yours for free with a trusted service like Credit Karma before you borrow or refinance.
Check your score on Credit Karma โExternal site โ not affiliated with uSAFE Money Manager.
Snap receipts, let AI do the typing, and hand your accountant a clean, organized package โ without spreadsheets or shoeboxes.
Keep your business books apart from your personal finances. Create a business, then switch between the two from the sidebar at any time.
Upload a photo or PDF of a receipt. AI reads the vendor, date, total, tax and currency, flags anything it's unsure about, and nothing becomes an expense until you review and confirm it.
Track unpaid customer invoices as expected income and supplier bills as upcoming payments, with how overdue each one is. Upload a photo or PDF and AI reads it for you to check. Nothing counts as income or an expense until it is paid. Professional plan.
See profit by month and by category, and the money that came in and went out each month, on a cash basis. Download either one as a CSV.
Record the tax on each sale and purchase, then see tax collected against tax paid by quarter, ready to hand to your accountant.
Log each business drive with its date, route, purpose and kilometres. See yearly totals and download the log for your accountant.
See who pays you and who you pay, what each one totaled this year, and what is still owed, with nothing extra to set up.
Your own rules run first, then AI suggests categories for the rest. Confirm or change a suggestion and the app remembers it for next time.
See how much of your year is categorized, confirmed and backed by a receipt, with links straight to what still needs attention.
Income, expenses and tax paid by year and quarter, with expenses grouped by CRA Form T2125 line and the usual claim percentage โ for example meals at 50%.
Download a PDF accountant package with every transaction, plus Excel and CSV exports, ready to hand over at tax time.
Give your accountant read-only access to the business โ they never see your personal finances โ and add admins or members with their own permissions.
Create a business workspace from the sidebar after you sign up. uSAFE Money Manager provides bookkeeping summaries, not tax advice.
โBeware of debt, for it is worry at night and humiliation during the day.โ
Sign up in seconds โ no credit card required.
Import CSV statements, set up budgets, and add your bills and loans.
Stay on top of your money and safely share insights with family.
Quick answers to the things people ask most, from your first import to tax time.
Create a free account, confirm your email, then open Settings to choose your currency and country. After that, add your first transactions by hand or import a statement. Personal finances work straight away; you can add a business workspace whenever you need one.
Open Transactions and enter the date, merchant, category and amount, marking it as income or an expense. For many at once, use Import instead. To find things, click the Date, Merchant, Category or Amount heading to sort the list; click again to reverse the order.
Open Import and drop a CSV, Excel or PDF statement. The app finds the date, merchant and amount columns, suggests a category for each row and shows you everything before anything is saved. Fix any category, then confirm. Rows you have already imported are flagged and skipped, so uploading the same file twice does not create duplicates. PDF statement import is part of the Professional plan.
Nothing is duplicated. Rows that match an existing transaction (same date, amount and merchant) are marked "Already imported" and skipped by default. If you really do want a row again, tick "Import anyway" on it.
Every transaction has a category. In Category Rules you can rename categories and map merchant keywords to a category, so future imports sort themselves. When you correct a category during an import, the app remembers it as a rule. On the Professional plan, AI categorization suggests categories for what is still uncategorized and learns from your choices.
Open Budgets, choose a category and set a monthly or yearly limit. You see live progress through the period, and notifications warn you when a category is close to or over its limit.
Open Bills and add each recurring bill with its due day. Every bill shows as To Pay, Auto-paid or Paid, overdue ones are highlighted, and each bill keeps its payment history.
Open Loans and add the loan with its balance and payment details. Log payments as you make them and the balance and payoff progress update. The free Loan Calculator on this site shows payments, total interest and a full schedule before you borrow.
The Dashboard shows the current period at a glance. Reports break spending down by category for any period, and Analytics shows trends over time and how you are doing against budgets.
In Settings, invite a family member by email and choose exactly which sections they can see: Dashboard, Transactions, Budgets, Loans, Bills, Reports and Analytics. Access is always read-only and you can remove it at any time.
Open Settings and pick your currency. uSAFE Money Manager supports 60+ currencies.
Open Security and follow the steps to add an authenticator app. Business owners can also require it for everyone who works in their business.
Use the Forgot password link on the sign-in page and we will email you a reset link. You can also change your password from Security once you are signed in.
Use Create a business in the sidebar and enter the name, currency and fiscal year start. Add the business and GST/HST numbers if you have them. Each person has one business; it keeps its own transactions, categories, receipts, tax summary and team, separate from your personal workspace. Switch between Personal and Business from the top of the sidebar.
Open Receipts and upload photos or PDFs (JPG, PNG or PDF, up to 4 MB each). The app reads the vendor, date, totals, tax and currency and flags anything it is unsure about. Nothing becomes an expense until you open the receipt, check it and confirm.
Categorize everything and confirm any receipts marked Needs review. The Tax Summary then shows income, expenses and tax paid by year and quarter, with expenses grouped by CRA Form T2125 line for Canadian businesses. It provides bookkeeping summaries, not tax advice.
Two ways. Invite your accountant from Team so they can view the business read-only (they never see your personal workspace), or download the accountant package from the Tax Summary: a PDF with every transaction plus Excel and CSV exports. The package and exports are part of the Professional plan.
Sign up at app1.usafemm.com. The accountant portal opens on My Clients, where you invite clients or set a business up for them, switch between clients, and see a portfolio report across all of them. The Accountant plan covers up to 5 clients.
Personal finances are free. Each business has its own plan (Free, Starter or Professional) with more receipts, tax reports, exports and AI features on the paid plans. See the Pricing page for current prices and what each plan includes.
Yes, on the Professional plan. In a business workspace, Invoices lists money customers owe you (expected income) and bills you still have to pay (upcoming payments), with how overdue each one is. They are not counted as income or expenses until you mark them paid, so your reports and tax summary only ever show money that actually moved.
Yes, on the Professional plan. On Invoices, choose Upload invoice and pick a photo or PDF (JPG, PNG or PDF, up to 4 MB). The app reads the name, invoice number, dates, due date (or works it out from terms such as Net 30), tax and total, and shows them for you to check. Nothing is saved until you press Save, and amber notes point out anything it was unsure about. The file stays attached to the invoice.
Yes. In a business workspace, open Mileage and add each drive with the date, where you went, the business purpose and the kilometres. Add a rate per kilometre if you want an estimated claim; check the current rate with the CRA or your accountant. Yearly totals appear at the top, and you can download the log as a CSV for your accountant. Mileage is included on every business plan.
Both are on the Reports page. Profit & Loss shows your income and expenses by category for each month of a year, with totals and the profit at the bottom. Cash Flow shows the money that came in and went out each month and the net change. They count money that actually moved (cash basis): unpaid invoices are left out until they are paid, and transfers between your own accounts are not counted. Cash Flow is a net change, not a bank balance, because the app does not hold your account balances. Both can be downloaded as a CSV on the Professional plan.
Yes, in a business workspace. Enter the tax included in an amount when you add a transaction, or click + Add tax on any existing row. Then open Tax Summary and choose Sales Tax to see, by quarter, the tax you collected on income, the tax you paid on expenses, and the difference. Transactions with no tax recorded count as zero, so the page tells you how many are filled in. It is a bookkeeping summary, not a tax filing: it does not apply limits such as the 50% on meals, and your accountant decides what you owe or can claim. The CSV download is on the Professional plan.
Customers and Suppliers are built for you from what you already record. Customers lists who pays you, from your income transactions and unpaid customer invoices. Suppliers lists who you pay, from your expense transactions and unpaid supplier bills. Names that differ only in capital letters or spacing are combined. There is nothing to set up, and you cannot yet store contact details.
No. uSAFE Money Manager is a tracking tool only. It does not connect to your bank accounts, make payments or move money. You add transactions yourself or import statements you download from your bank.
Yes. Your data is only visible to you and to people you invite. Passwords are hashed, connections are encrypted, and shared access is limited to the sections you choose. Repeated sign-in attempts are slowed down, and changing or resetting your password signs you out everywhere. See the Privacy Policy for full details.
You can export your transactions and download all your data as a ZIP (Professional plan). To delete your account and its data, email support@usafemm.com.
Check your spam or junk folder first; emails come from no-reply@usafemm.com. On the sign-in page you can ask for a new verification email. If it still does not arrive after a few minutes, email support@usafemm.com.
No. It helps you track and organize your own information. Nothing in the app is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. See the Terms of Use.
